Death Cafe: A place to talk freely about the end of life

About this Event
OCDWA Death Cafés at NCC run from 5:30 to 7 pm. We removed as many barriers to attendance as possible, and therefore guests need not RSVP or pay admission. Parking in the church lot is free.
Guests are warmly greeted at the door and asked for their email solely to receive
reminders about future Death Cafés. They are given nametags and invited to enjoy the copious spread of snacks and beverages the OCDWA provides. They are invited to mingle, eat, and drink for a few minutes before being seated, when a leader describes what a Death Café is. No agenda is given; people are welcome to talk about whatever is on their minds, and discussions are held as confidential within the room.
After about an hour of discussion with their table mates, one person from each table will be asked to take a moment to tell the rest of the guests what topics came up in their discussion. The leader thanks guests for attending and reminds them of the next Death Café date.
