ALSO NOTE: CLASSES WILL BE HELD AT TRI-C, WESTERN CAMPUS, 7029 Homewood Avenue, Parma, Oh 44130 in the Public Safety Training Center, ROOM 212

The Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board of Cuyahoga County is excited to offer Crisis Intervention Training. This training will provide updated information to civilian professionals in Cuyahoga County on engaging and communicating with people in crisis.

The training will cover:

  • Review of Mental Illness & Substance Use Disorder
  • Situational Awareness and Safety
  • Overview of the Cuyahoga County Diversion Center
  • De-escalation Strategies
  • Legal Issues Concerning Mental Health
  • Scenario Based Activities

The training is free of charge.
