A 3.43-mile walk, benefitting the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, will be held in conjunction with the "Antique Fire Engine Show and Tri-C Fire Training Academy Open House," to honor the 343 members of the FDNY who lost their lives on 9-11.Walk schedule:
*9:15 AM – Participant sign-in at the Public Safety Training Center’s 9-11 Memorial. An aerial ladder, flying the American flag, will mark the location.
*10:15 AM - Ceremony.
*10:30 AM – Walk begins. At the conclusion, each participant will ring a bell and announce the name(s) of the firefighters they are honoring.
*12 Noon – Food and refreshments at the Fire Training Academy.
Registration information will be available online beginning March 1st.
