Day of the Dead Noche de Ofrendas 2026

The Sioux City Public Museum honors Day of the Dead with a day of celebration, including music, dancing, refreshments, face painting, and children’s crafts. This event is free to attend!
The theme for this year's celebration is Noche de Ofrendas (Night of Altars). Members of the community have created ofrendas (altars) which will be on display October 20-November 1. Local schools were also invited to participate in creating paper candles to decorate the museum atrium and exhibit space.
