Day of the Dead Altar Exhibition Opening Day

This year’s theme for the Museum’s Day of the Dead events is “Noche de Ofrendas” (Night of Altars). The exhibition features altars made by community members and groups. Local schools were invited to make paper candles which decorate the museum entry and exhibit space.
The exhibition runs through November 1, when the Museum hosts a day of celebration including music, dancing and refreshments. The celebration will be held from 1-4 p.m. and is free to attend.
