Day of Service: Mountains-to-Sea Trail Clean-Up

Join us for a Kerr Family YMCA Day of Service as we honor the memory of 9/11 by giving back to our community. We will be gathering to clean up a local MST trail, ensuring it remains a beautiful and safe place for everyone to enjoy. All ages are welcome, with adult supervision.
Event Details:
• What is Provided: MST leaders will have volunteers sign in, give a briefing on safety and an overview of what is expected and provide all the necessary gear including vests, grabbers, and bags. After the workday, the MST leaders will have a closing session where they will share the importance of picking up trash and its effects on the local environment and watershed.
• What to Bring: Volunteers should expect to bring extra water/snacks, a day pack, and any other essentials needed to enjoy this cleanup.
• What to Wear: Proper walking gear, such as closed toe shoes, comfortable clothing consisting of long sleeves, long pants, and long socks suitable for outdoor work are strongly recommended.
• Refreshments: The Y will provide water and light snacks.
• Parking: Parking is limited at this trailhead location. Please carpool if possible
