KENTWOOD ROCKS + MULCH DAY,+ METAL MANDO MADNESS AND PIZZA

hi there Wonderful People,
We are going to be mulching and rocking, to beautyfi and reinforce some eroding/washed out areas on the course. As well as trash pickup.
This is a coordinated event with our friends at Raleigh Parks and REC for Saturday 9/19/26 9am to noon. Here is the registration and event details link. Usually we have so many volunteers we finish the work in well under 2 hrs. :) . So i'd expect we work for a few hrs, then eat pizza and start a round of metal mando madness that we likely finish by 12:30, event link and metal mando madness details below.

Immediately, after the event KWDGC will provide free pizza and beverages for all volunteers at the playground pavilion, followed by a free entry into a random dubs round of METAL MANDO MADNESS for all volunteers with $50 for 1st place, $30 2nd, $20 3rd, and $25 ace pool if hit.
We will generate fair random teams and try to tee off asap likely between 11:15 and noon depending on work completion and pizza consumption. If you haven't played this before it is alot of fun. You can participate in the round after the work/fun day, however the entry is $10 if you didn't volunteer and you get no pizza:P. If you can't make the workday but still want to attend please go ahead and pre register to the page the same way you did for summer doubles.

If you love Kentwood and wish to see it well tended for and get a chance to hang out with some other great and wonderful people*, please come out and show your support.
(*the term great and wonderful people is highly subjective and may be biased towards disc golf hooligans:))

If the event registration is full online, there is really unlimited signup ability in person, just message the page and say you are coming, or you can also just show up day of, you just need to sign the city waiver upon arrival. We are only really limited by the number of wheelbarrows, but swapping fresh legs for trips up the hills would be welcome.
