David Lindo - 20 Years as the Urban Birder

David Lindo is an award-winning writer, broadcaster, tour leader and birder who has spent his life encouraging others to notice nature in urban areas through the medium of birds.

A BBC Springwatch regular, it has been 20 years since David first appeared on our TV screens to tell the world about his beloved local patch - Wormwood Scrubs. A lot has happened since and he has a few stories to tell!

Attendees will have the chance to participate in a Q&A after the talk and to buy Urban Birder merchandise, as well as artwork created by the Local Group members.

This promises to be a fascinating talk and marks the first indoor event held by the new RSPB Manchester Local Group following on from their successful fundraising events for Dove Stone reserve.
