Sign the waiver at the registration booth.
No call, no show = full payment still required.
Carpooling is encouraged — limited parking.
Hydration is highly recommended — please bring your own water or sports drinks to stay cool and energized.
TOURNAMENT RULES & FORMAT
🏸Levels
Baddixx Members - use the leveling guide posted in our group page.
Non-Baddixx Members- leveling will be determined in alignment with the competitive standard of our group. Your declared level may be increased by one, or alternatively, your level may be evaluated through our tournament software using historical tournament data.
Participants who wish to undergo an in‑person level assessment may attend any Tuesday & Sunday playnights at SGV prior to the event.
Sandbagging will be strictly monitored. Any participant found sandbagging will be disqualified from ALL matches, including those already completed
🏸Event format will depend on the number of participating pairs.
For 5 pairs, the event will follow a round‑robin format.
For more than 5 pairs, the event will follow a single‑elimination format with a consolation match for teams that lose their first game.
If the event has less than 5 pairs, the event will be cancelled.
⏱️Call time grace period:
Over 5 minutes = 1st set default
Over 10 minutes = entire match default
Injury Time: 5 minutes per set
Rest/Break: 2 minutes per player per game
🏸Scoring:
Regular Matches: 21 - 21 - 15 points (3rd Set - 8 pts switch)
Consolation Matches: 31-point game (switch 16 pts)
Tied scores during a match point will be a sudden death no deuce.
Refer to Tournament Software for event times and updates.
🏸Shuttle Policy: One (1) Shuttle will be provided. ALL Players must bring their own shuttle to each match.
