Electric Duke’s live Bowie tribute show is so much more than a cover band going through the hits.
Electric Duke is an experience that is unforgettable for Bowie fans. We have performed 122 of his songs to date across several continents of the world, and the live tribute experience involves costumes, authentic recreations of Bowie’s greatest moments onstage with a band that variously have performed with Lou Reed, Bryan Ferry, Dweezil Zappa, Shakespears Sister, Alain Whyte (Morrissey), several of Bowie’s actual band members and had ringing endorsements from friends of David’s as well as famous musicians and music fans across the board. The most common comments sound a little like: “I didn’t know that was a Bowie song! Thank you for reminding me of his genius”
With a cross-genre catalogue of hit music that spans 50 years of beautiful artistic perfection and wonderfully significant cultural moments, Bowie’s music reaches cross generations from the oldies all the way down to the cool kids of today.
