As part of the inaugural Gather@ Multivenue Festival, Gather@ are proud to bring Dave McCabe of The Zutons, Ellen Beth Abdi, and The Folk Drama to the Horse + Bamboo, Waterfoot, Rossendale
The festival opens with a night of incredible live music in the intimate surroundings of the Horse + Bamboo. Headlining the evening is Dave McCabe, songwriter, frontman, and founding force behind The Zutons, performing solo in a raw acoustic setting that highlights his distinctive voice and songwriting.
Joining him is Manchester singer-songwriter Ellen Beth Abdi, bringing her signature blend of live loops, flowing synths, and socially conscious lyrics. Her self-produced debut album, released independently in May 2025, has already earned critical acclaim for its “wonky, soul-infused pop” sound.
Also on the bill is The Folk Drama from Edinburgh. Their music draws inspiration from The Beach Boys’ harmonies, Arthur Lee’s psychedelic textures, and Pavement’s slacker-rock sensibility. The result is melodic, introspective, and slightly off-kilter, with catchy hooks and a playful, intimate energy. Their debut EP, Not in the Next Life, captures this unique mix of sounds.
Gather@ at the Horse + Bamboo offers a rare chance to experience these artists up close in a unique and intimate setting.
An evening of great songs and memorable performances awaits.
Come and be part of something special.
Doors open: 6 pm
On stage: TBC
Tickets: £25
We encourage guests to arrive early and experience the full lineup. Supporting every artist is a big part of what makes Gather@ special.
