Dating Games: Adventure Hunt at Industry City

WHAT IS DATING GAMES?

If you're tired of swiping on the apps, having the same conversations over and over, going on dates that feel like corporate interviews, and riding the emotional see-saw between boredom and hope... this event was designed for you.

Remember when finding friends and forming crushes was as simple as being in the same class or on the same sports team? When we were kids or even in college, meeting new people and romantic interests was not only easy... it was fun and organic. And because we were having fun, the best parts of us came forward.

Dating Games events are designed to simulate that environment: easygoing, a little goofy, light-hearted, and playful. At the beginning of the event, each attendee will be given a number to wear. At the end, you'll submit a list with the number of every person you're interested in getting to know better. This way, you can spend gametime enjoying yourself, not strategizing how to shoot your shot. The next day, we'll connect those who requested each other!

For this Dating Games series edition, we'll meet in Barrow's Intense NY Tasting Room at Industry City. After being broken into teams, you'll have 60 minutes to complete a scavenger/adventure hunt throughout the 35-acre ecosystem. Bring a charged phone and your creativity!

NOTE: We have planned the start time early enough so that the majority of Industry City businesses will be open and in full swing. The hunt will start at 4:30pm sharp, so please arrive at 4 so you have enough time to check in and meet your team before we give instructions.

After the winning team is announced back at Barrow's, we'll mingle and debrief while enjoying cocktails featuring the world's largest collection of New York state spirits.
