Date My Mate Marathon
A fresh take on dating—where personality comes first.
Forget endless swiping and awkward speed dating. Date My Mate Marathon is a fun, interactive evening where singles are introduced through short presentations before everyone has the chance to mingle and meet.
Whether you're putting yourself forward, nominating a friend, or simply coming along to meet new people, this is all about creating genuine connections in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

How the Marathon Works
Rather than running just one event, Date My Mate Marathon is a series of events for different age groups.
At the beginning of July, we'll announce which age group will be taking place on 8th August, based on the interest we've received.
If you RSVP for a ticket or complete the application form, we'll keep your details and contact you as soon as your age group's event is confirmed. If your age group isn't selected this time, you'll be one of the first to hear when your event is announced.
The more interest we receive from an age group, the sooner we'll schedule their event.
How the event works
Step 1 – Apply
Complete our application form to either:
• Nominate yourself
• Nominate a single friend
Step 2 – We Create Your Profile
We'll create a fun presentation highlighting your personality, interests, hobbies, values and what you're looking for in a partner.
Step 3 – Presentation Time
Choose whichever option feels right for you:
• Present yourself
• Have a friend present you
• Let the Milestones team present on your behalf
Step 4 – Express Your Interest
As each person is presented, audience members can privately note down who they'd like to get to know better.
Step 5 – It's Your Choice
At the end of the presentations, each featured single will receive a confidential list of everyone who expressed an interest in meeting them.
They can then choose who they'd like to meet.
We'll simply point them towards that person's name and symbol on their name badge, allowing them to introduce themselves naturally.
No public rejection.
No awkward announcements.
No pressure.
Just genuine conversations with people who already think you'd be worth getting to know.

Apply yourself or be nominated by a friend.
💛 Attend as a Single
Not ready to present? That's absolutely fine! Come along, wear your single wristband, enjoy the evening, mingle, and meet other singles.
❤️ Come to Support Someone
Friends and family are very welcome to cheer people on.
❤️ Not Single?
You're still welcome to attend and enjoy the event. We'll simply ask you to wear a red wristband so everyone knows you're there to support the event rather than looking to date.

• Age groups and event dates may be adjusted based on demand.

• While we can't guarantee you'll meet "the one," we can promise a fun evening and the opportunity to meet some wonderful new people.
