Northern Soul at the BBC Proms vocal star Darrell Smith and the Soul Brothers Syndicate will be live at Wigan’s The Edge. Darrell Smith plus special guests will be performing all the proms classics on Saturday 14th February 2026 In the legendary town of the Wigan where the world famous Casino once stood.
The Soul Brothers Syndicate bring to you a breathtaking live show with their 20-piece Northern Soul Orchestra playing less tribute and more homage to the music known as Northern Soul.
The band bring their own unique spirit and spontaneous humour to every concert. The show is narrated in a timeline style, going from Northern Soul’s humble beginnings at the twisted wheel (Manchester) and Golden Torch (Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent), to the Blackpool Mecca and the world-famous Wigan Casino!
