Learn about grim goings on, treacherous tykes and reactive riots on this immersive guided walking tour of this historic town. You’ll be introduced to a collection of characters from the back streets and ancient hostelries of Horrible Halifax.
Halifax Heritage Tours CIC and Haunted Halifax CIC take you on an immersive walking tour of our town, sharing snippets in snickets and stories of places, buildings and the characters from the past who lived in and visited during the Medieval,
Georgian and Victorian eras through to more modern times in our post industrial town. Meet crafty Coiners, profiteering parishioners and finding out more about those infamous deaths by Guillotine, served from the archaic Moot Hall.
Halifax Heritage Tours CIC has been set up and is run by volunteers who are passionate about the heritage of Magic Halifax. Monies generated by ticket sales
and donations will be put towards community and education projects to promote and preserve the heritage of Halifax. Please note children must be accompanied by an adult.
