Learn the basic techniques of Middle Eastern Darbuka or Riqq with Jeff Holland in this introductory workshop.
Developing your ear and feel for Middle Eastern rhythms becomes easier when you drum!
This workshop is for dancers, percussionists, and anyone else who wants to explore new music or learn from Jeff.
Members of Bright Eyes Belly Dance who are interested in creating a percussion ensemble and haven't taken with Jeff in the past will need to take this workshop.

Start Time: 2:30 pm
Cost: $20

When you pay, let me know if you have your own darbuka or will need to borrow one.
Note: You will need a darbuka, not a djembe or other style of drum. It can be Arabic or Turkish.
