Danza Bendición - like ecstatic dance… but witchier? Danza Bendición / Dance Blessing is an all ages, substance-free restorative afternoon dance journey of free movement, healing and embodiment. In sacred space, we dance our prayers for the personal and the collective. Together, heeding the call of the elders, we’ll bless the water on the altar and the waters on our planet.
Lauren Sovereign weaves a DJ set of electrofolkloric rhythms of reverence from across the globe, in a dance wave portal inducing trance and transformation.
Come as you are, in your authenticity. Dance medicine holds us, allowing for expression, mourning, celebration, emodiment, and whatever is true.
Lauren Sovereign, a DJ of over two decades, has facilitated ecstatic dance across the globe, including running the Ecstatic Dance NYC chapter. She calls on her extensive training as a healer, sound healer, ceremonialist, and DJ to create this unique space.
