Daniel Salazar & Friends is a more intimate version of "Guitar Under the Stars," the concert Daniel Salazar has produced in Hartford for many years. The program features Daniel Salazar performing his original music and brilliant arrangements with his ensemble of international musicians. It will have the same ambience as the original Guitar Under the Stars, highlighting the beautifully expressive sound of the Spanish classical guitar while incorporating traditional South American instruments such as zampoña, quena, and charango, along with vibrant Latin percussion.
Founded in 1993, "Guitar Under the Stars" has been described as "a spectacular evening of Latin, Spanish, classical, and international music for guitar and orchestra."

Concert is FREE and takes place on the John G. Martin Foundation Stage, located on the Rose Garden Lawn.
