Two-day training course: Once completed, you will be armed with the basics to design, deploy and optimise a d&b loudspeaker system.

Wednesday 16th September – ArrayCalc software and Electroacoustics
Thursday 17th September – R1 software and system deployment
Lunch will be provided.

Wednesday 16th Morning Session – ArrayCalc & Electroacoustics
Host: Euan Mackenzie
Info: The morning is dedicated to the d&b workflow, with a focus on the software program ArrayCalc, from entering all the relevant data into the ArrayCalc planning software, via steps for simulating line arrays and point sources. This session will also provide a comprehensive guide to the principles of acoustics. Important questions are answered such as how does sound propagate and how do sound waves combine. Complex system planning. Performed efficiently. The system approach has always been a major priority at d&b. The d&b System Reality is now unimaginable without d&b software, and it represents a key component in planning and preparation.

Thursday 17th Morning Session – R1 Software & system deployment

Info: The morning workshop follows on with a focus on the software program R1, generating an intuitive user interface for the R1 Remote control software, in order to send all the relevant parameters to d&b system amplifiers with only a few mouse clicks.

Info: Participants are familiarised with the features of the R1 software & system deployment. Loads of time to gain in-depth knowledge about efficient planning, and setup. Plenty of practical exercises will allow you to incorporate this knowledge into your daily routine.
