In this workshop, designed for older adults, Ranee Ramaswamy, uses poetry as a prompt to engage participants in learning Bharatanatyam hand gestures. Conversations and movements lead to a process of seeing, showing, being, and communicating emotions and expressions. It’s a form of dancing with hand, body and mind.
