Join us on September 30th for Dancing in Their Honour: Truth & Reconciliation Pow Wow a gathering held in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
Through song, dance, drumming, food, art and community, we come together to honour residential school Survivors, remember the children who never returned home, and recognize the generations of Indigenous families and communities who continue to be affected by the residential school system.
The pow wow will feature Indigenous dancers and drum groups, Indigenous vendors, food, and opportunities for visitors to gather, learn and reflect. Everyone is welcome to join us in a spirit of respect, remembrance and reconciliation as we honour the strength, resilience and living cultures of Indigenous Peoples.
Truth and Reconciliation Pow Wow – Experience an evening of culture, community and celebration from 6–9 p.m.!
Music is Medicine – Enjoy live music and performances in the Plaza from 4–6 p.m.!
Indigenous Market – Shop from Indigenous vendors and makers from 4–9 p.m.!
FREE for First Nations, Métis and Inuit.
