Dances of Universal Peace in Roanoke

Dances of Universal Peace are an embodied peace practice. We use our voices and simple circle Dances to embody sounds, vibrations, intentions and prayers for peace and love in the world. We are a group of friends from many spiritual paths gathering to dance and pray for peace in our hearts and the world. This is a joyful, simple practice- everything taught with ease and levity. No experience needed.
In September, we recognize the annual International Day of Peace - a call to cease fire in war zones, and for creative acts of peace and compassion everywhere. Individually and collectively, we can make a difference.
Special Sept. 19th Schedule:
3:30-4:30 Drums and Art expressions
4:30-6:00 Dances of universal peace circle
6:00 pm - Potluck Dinner and please share a poem if you’d like!
Offering: We gratefully accept donations to cover expense for the meeting space and making offering to musicians and leaders. Suggested donation: $5-$25. None is required. Come as you are.
