We will be using the new Dance Vision Syllabus and training you on all of the details you need to socially dance the 9 American Style Ballroom Dances. In 1 year we will progress through all 9 dances (Level I & II). You will have the opportunity to test out of each level with the studio in order to progress. There are opportunities for those taking the classes to schedule 20 min private lessons on the material being taught ($60 for 20 minute lessons - can be split with a second person.)
Each person will be expected to demo their steps individually with counts and demo dancing with a partner to music. Passing the test is not guaranteed. Each student must demonstrate basic timing, footwork, and knowledge of the steps to pass. Once passing a level, students will be listed as passing at that level and be eligible for future levels within the studio.
