Join us for a guided walk in Dams to Darnley Country Park exploring reservoirs, history, wildlife and landscape.
About this Event

Rennie Mason, Countryside Ranger, will lead a guided walk through Dams to Darnley Country Park, exploring the park’s rich history and distinctive landscape. Along the route, he will highlight features such as the 19th-century reservoirs, woodland habitats and open water that support a wide range of birds, wildflowers, and other wildlife.

Meet at Darnley Mill car park, Corselet Road, Southpark Village, Glasgow, G53 7RN. Grid ref: NS528595 What3words: noses.riches.hugs.

Children over 8 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. No dogs allowed except assistance dogs. Please wear appropriate ooutdoor clothing and footwear, and bring binoculars if you have them.

Suggested donation: £2 per person (you can donate when you book or in person on the day). All donations help us to continue to bring an interesting and varied selection of events to our audience as well as supporting local wildlife causes. Please donate if you can.
