The Dance Centre presents the internationally acclaimed BC choreographer Daina Ashbee’s compelling new solo We learned a lot at our own funeral. A thought-provoking exploration of the notion of death, the work uses movement, breath, voice, and an atmospheric sound score to draw us into a potent sense of ritual - echoing the communal experience of a funeral rite. We learned a lot at our own funeral is a profound meditation on the strength and fragility of the body. Post-show artist talkback February 7.
