Cyber Essentials in Practice - London Training Day
About this Event
Following the fantastic response to our Manchester training days, we’re bringing our Cyber Essentials training to London.
If you’re responsible for Cyber Essentials within your organisation, this in-person session will help you understand the requirements and prepare for certification or renewal with confidence.
Thursday 1 October 2026 | 10am–4pm
The Hand & Flower, Hammersmith, London
Lunch provided
With the Danzell question set now in use, we’ll work through what’s changed, how it applies to your organisation and what our assessors are seeing in practice.
What we’ll cover
- The five technical controls and how the Danzell updates affect certification and renewal
- Getting your scope right, including legal entities, cloud services and remote working
- MFA requirements and checking that the right accounts are covered
- Patch management and meeting the 14-day requirement for relevant security updates
- The updated Cyber Essentials Plus sampling requirements and how to prepare
- Lessons from assessments, common misunderstandings and how to avoid them
What to expect
A structured training day with Secarma’s assessors, worked examples and time to discuss the areas you need help with. You’ll also meet others managing certification within their organisations.
You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of what’s required, what to check and the next steps for your organisation.
Who should attend?
People responsible for implementing or coordinating Cyber Essentials, including IT teams, business owners and those working with an external IT provider. The session is suitable for organisations preparing for their first certification or renewing an existing one.
