Seaweed lends itself to this technique due to it’s delicacy, intricate shapes and translucent nature. Participants will learn the history of Cyanotypes and their importance with regards to the development of in-camera photography. We will explore wet and dry Cyanotype techniques and experiment with adding different chemicals and materials to alter the finished appearance of the Cyanotype.
During this 2.5hr workshop we will forage for specimens at Caerfai Beach, then heading back to The Really Wild Emporium to learn a variety of Cyanotype techniques.
