In 2025 we are currently only planning ONE intake for our flagship, radical and wonderful Death Doula Preparation course. You can join at any time and from the moment you sign up you get access to community calls, newsletters and online groups. You will get access to our online materials from April 2025 so you can begin to prepare.
The in-person element of the course is a retreat which marks the formal beginning of your cohort experience. The retreat this year is at the stunning Trefacwn in Pembrokeshire and takes place from 30th September to 5th October 2025.
From the retreat onwards your cohort "Journey with Death" together for 12 months online following our course materials and sharing in Inquiry as to what Death as a Teacher has to offer us. With regular community zoom calls and monthly skills share sessions you will feel part of our global community of death doulas while also enjoying the intimacy of travelling together with your close cohort through the materials.
Time commitment is 6 days for the retreat, then starting the following January 3 hours per month minimum personal prep time, 2 hours per month cohort check in calls on Zoom (obligatory) with an additional 2 hours a month Skills Share sessions which are highly encouaraged that you attend but so long as you watch the recording we are OK with that. Not obligatory but highly supportive are our weekly community zoom calls that last 1 hour. Your cohort may also decide to autonomously self organise to connect more often and that's up to you.
