There are 108 Commonwealth War Graves spanning both wars, as well as those who died in service linked to RAF Northolt . The tour covers some of their stories and the history of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission itself.
Discover the stories of some of these fallen heroes , like the lone New Zealand infantry man from 1918 , the Canadian nurse who met the King , the RAF pilots strange fateful last flights, and the young soldier who died less than one mile from the cemetery where he is buried .
The tour lasts approx. 75 mins and covers about 1000 metres on paths and grass with uneven ground.
Parking is available on the service roads and also at the chapel. There are no on-site facilities or toilets. Please bring water if required.
Please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear.
Only assistance dogs are allowed in the cemetery
Please note there can be last minute cancellations. This can be due to various reasons including illness, site issues and weather. We will email you as soon as we can, but this could include the morning of the tour, so please check your emails prior to leaving for the tour.
The Commonwealth War Graves Foundation (CWGF) aims to actively engage all communities with the work of the CWGC by telling the inspiring stories through education and outreach projects.
