Join us for an immersive 3-part series where you'll learn how to craft your own custom cutting board from start to finish. This hands-on workshop is perfect for beginners and those with some woodworking experience who want to create a beautiful, functional piece for their kitchen or as a thoughtful gift.
Sunday Series

Session 1: Wood Selection and Layout

🕒 Time: 5 PM - 7 PM

• Introduction: We’ll start with an overview of the cutting board-making process.
• Wood Selection: You’ll choose from pre-cut, planed, and joined wood pieces.
• Layout and Design: Arrange your pieces to create a unique design. We’ll guide you through safely cutting pieces and preparing them for assembly.

Session 2: Assembly and Shaping
📅 Date: Sunday, November 10
🕒 Time: 5 PM - 7 PM

• Planing and Smoothing: We’ll help you plane down the glued boards to ensure a smooth, even surface.
• Customization: Add personalized touches, such as curved edges, handles, or juice grooves. Use the bandsaw for creative shaping, or keep it simple with classic lines.

Session 3: Sanding and Finishing
📅 Date: Sunday, November 17
🕒 Time: 5 PM - 7 PM

• Sanding: Learn techniques to sand your cutting board to a smooth finish.
• Finishing: Apply cutting board oil for a durable, food-safe finish that enhances the natural beauty of the wood.
• Final Touches: Complete any last-minute details, and take home your custom cutting board, ready for use!

Make-Up Session
