Cut. Thrust. Smash! is back with a vengeance. In 2026, AEMMA Ottawa will be hosting this event every month, and all are welcome.Fence with whom you want with what you want: the only rules are:
- Don't break your partner, as you won't get another one.
- Everyone leaves on good terms at the end of the event--leave your egos at the door.
From 11 to 3, the floor will be open for free fencing after which we will head out for some food and drink.
As with all fencing events, it is free for AEMMA Ottawa students, and $10 for visitors from other schools.
Please note that while we do have some spare weapons (swords, daggers, etc.), we DO NOT have any protective gear that can be shared. So if you plan on attending, make sure you have your own mask, gorget, jacket, gloves, etc.
