Curtis Paper Mill Company Tour Video and Panel Discussion

The Curtis Paper Company was the first Newark business to achieve a national reputation and by the time it closed in 1997, it had employed hundreds of local residents during its 149-year history. Francis Poole and Tim Murray filmed Donnie Miller, a 40-year employee and third generation papermaker, as he showed them the factory during its last week of operation. Join them and Donnie’s son for a the first-ever public showing and discussion of the film that preserved “an inside look at Curtis Paper.”
