APRI-DE Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Prayer Breakfast

Welcome to the APRI-DE Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Prayer Breakfast! Join us for a morning of reflection and inspiration as we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This in-person event will be held at the Executive Conference and Banquet Center. Come together with our community to celebrate Dr. King's message of equality, justice, and peace. Start your day with prayer, music, and fellowship as we commemorate the impact of this influential leader. We look forward to seeing you there!

The cost of this event is $75 per person with a portion of the proceeds to go towards our chapter initiatives. Our keynote speaker for this year’s breakfast will be the Magnificent Fleur McKendell, NAACP State President and our Worship Leader will be the dynamic Ms. Sade' Truit. Philip Randolph Institute – Delaware Chapter will be continuing the tradition of hosting the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Prayer Breakfast on June 14, 2025.

The A. Philip Randolph Institute (APRI) is an organization for African American trade unionists. APRI advocates social, labor, and economic change at the state and federal level, using legal and legislative means. APRI has 150 chapters in 36 states. We will continue the tradition of celebrating the life and works and birthday of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and celebrate our founder A. Philip Randolph who worked with Dr. King and was the organizer of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom on August 28, 1963.

The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. prayer breakfast will be held at The Executive Banquet and Conference Center located at 205 Executive Way Newark, Delaware, 19702. Breakfast will begin promptly at 8:00 am. Doors will open at 7:00 am.Our theme this year will be Celebrating King as we Honor Community Leaders.
