FROM THE FIRE OF CARMEN TO THE TRAGEDY OF RIGOLETTO
Twenty-four hours later, the Redwood Theatre transforms for Verdi’s gripping Rigoletto.
Acclaimed Canadian bass-baritone Andrew Tees takes on the title role, with Holly Chaplin as his beloved daughter, Gilda, and Adam Luther returning to the stage as the charismatic and dangerous Duke of Mantua.
Luke Noftall takes on the dual roles of Sparafucile and Monterone, with Cameron Mazzei as Borsa, Ryan Hofman as Marullo, and Kcenia Kourtorjevski as Maddalena.
Narmina Efendiyeva serves as Musical Director.
Together, Carmen and Rigoletto offer audiences two dramatically different evenings built around some of opera’s most recognizable and exhilarating music — all experienced just feet away from the performers in the intimate surroundings of The Redwood Theatre.
