Curly Hair Care: Back 2 School! is a FUN, skill-building course to help you feel confident, not overwhelmed, when caring for kids with textured hair. This signature session is led by textured hair care formulator and foster parent educator Joy Hankins, founder of The Joy of Curls textured hair brand.
In this session, you will:
- Learn how to master wash day step-by-step so it feels calm, organized, and successful (yes, even with wiggly kids).
- Learn how to use the right products for curls, coils, and textured hair so you can detangle, cleanse, condition and style.
- Use textured hair mannequins to create a signature style (perfect for busy school mornings) that builds confidence and celebrates the beauty of textured hair.
- Receive step-by-step feedback and support to ensure you learn!
You’ll also have a safe space to get all your questions answered about both hair and skin care, so you leave feeling capable and supported.
Expect calm vibes, snacks/refreshments, live demos and a warm, judgment-free space where learning feels exciting!
