About this Event
Curio Wine School: Spotlight on Cabernet Sauvignon
Cabernet Sauvignon is the world’s most widely planted red grape, known for its bold structure, dark fruit, and age-worthy character. But how it expresses itself varies dramatically depending on where it’s grown.
This class takes you on a global tour of Cabernet Sauvignon, comparing Old World and New World styles side by side. You’ll taste everything from Bordeaux blends to Napa Valley standouts and beyond, learning how terroir, climate, and winemaking techniques influence this noble grape. Ideal for all levels of wine knowledge, this tasting showcases why Cabernet remains a benchmark for quality and power in red wine.
Please note this is an identical class to the session on Wednesday, September 24.
Included with your ticket:
- Seated wine class in the cool Curio Wine Cellar with Johnny Puckett, Curio & Rogers Ford Farm Winery owner and winemaker (WSET 3).
- Guided tasting of six unique wines.
- Small plate of artisanal cheese and crackers to accompany your tasting
- Discounts on bottle purchases of all wines tasted
