We have been toasting bread for hundreds of years, but have you ever thought about the impact that history and the changes in our society has had on just how, where, and with what, we toast our bread?
June 14 | Objects of Protest: Boulder Speaks!
Boulderites have a long history of exercising their right to freedom of speech. We will be pulling a series of Boulder protest items from our collection from recent years, as well as from history, to showcase the freedom of speech in action.
August 9 | Trunks from the Collection
Trunks have surprising stories to tell. Made from wicker, metal, leather and pulp paper, these humble work objects hold many histories waiting to be shared.
December 13 | Lighting Up the Holidays!
Lights, both indoor and outdoor, have been a part of Boulder’s holiday celebrations for years. Not only will we take a look at traditional Christmas tree lighting, but we will be exploring holiday lighting traditions from other cultural groups as well.
