You are warmly invited to the opening of 'THE FLESH REMEMBERS,' an intervention taking place in the staircase of Accelerator. The intervention stems from a collaboration between the International Master’s Programme in Curating Art at Stockholm University and Accelerator, and unites the artistic practices of Sofie Alm Nordsveen, Aron Dahl, and Lilian Steiner.
The opening takes place on Thursday, 30 January, and includes a one-time durational performance by Lilian Steiner, entitled 'Siren Dance: Metamorphosis.' The performance will commence at 17:00 and end at 20:00. Drinks will be served in the Accelerator café.

For four days, THE FLESH REMEMBERS transforms the staircase into a swampy, slimy, and fleshy site to explore the skin and its intricate connection to identity, memory, and time. The event creates a conceptual bridge to Sin Wai Kin's ongoing exhibition The Time of Our Lives, where transforming identity and the shedding of skin are intimately bound, each caught in a process of change.
THE FLESH REMEMBERS is curated by Elvira K. Wikman, Isa Van den Wouwer, and Unn Faleide. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our mentor, Nina Øverli, and the team at Accelerator for their support and collaboration.
