Cuban dance classes in Lismore, February-April 2025

Cuban dance classes in Lismore will commence next Friday 21st February and the term will run for 8 weeks only until just before Easter on Friday 11th April. There will be only TWO levels operating due to time constraints:6pm: Fundamentals of Cuban dance, Casino style, Levels 1 and 2, suitable for anyone new to Cuban partnered social dances.
7pm: Advanced - Intermediate Casino, Levels 7-9, suitable for those who were attending our later (7pm) class in 2024.
Unfortunately we are unable at this stage to continue with our Casino Level 4 class (last year's 6pm group) as regular attendance was too low to be able to keep that group together. However, we would hope that as we bring a new 6pm Casino Fundamentals group through in the coming couple of months there will be enough people to continue at Level 3-4 after Easter. Please also feel free to drop in at any stage if you want to refresh your knowledge of the foundational steps we cover in Levels 1 and 2!
The location of Lismore classes will be the same as 2024, i.e. the dance studio at 111 Magellan Street, Lismore, directly behind the Masonic Temple across the road from the Lismore Library. Please see the attached flyer for details.
Please also note that due to increasing costs we are, after many years of putting it off, raising our prices to $20 per person per class.
