Central Texas Plant People's first-ever Plant Swap & Market at Zilker Botanical Garden is here, and we couldn't be more excited!
Join us for a morning filled with plants, community, and fun! Browse a curated lineup of amazing local vendors, swap plants with fellow plant lovers, shop for new botanical treasures, and enter to win fun giveaways.
Whether you're a seasoned gardener, a houseplant collector, or just starting your plant journey, everyone is welcome! Bring your friends, bring your family, and come connect with Austin's incredible plant community.
Admission to the Plant Swap & Market is FREE. Please note that general admission to Zilker Botanical Garden is required to enter the gardens.
Come meet fellow plant lovers, discover unique vendors, swap some green goodies, and leave with a few new plant babies (or a few more than you planned).

📢📢📢 PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY.
➡️ What to bring?
-Healthy plants! Starters, cuttings, houseplants, succulents, bulbs, trees, shrubs, orchids, etc. as long as you’re ready to part with them.
-Clearly labeled plants. (Common name, botanical name, care instructions, etc.) There will be a post on the event page that you can print out and attach to your plants or use as a reference so you can write everything down.
-Plants in soil, water or carefully wrapped.
❌❌❌ CHECK YOUR PLANTS FOR MEALY BUGS, SPIDER MITES, THRIPS, ETC! I REPEAT... CHECK YOUR PLANTS! ❌❌❌
➡️ No plants to swap? 😔 It’s okay! 😊
-You can also bring pots, macrame, plant art, etc. (anything you are willing to part with for a plant works!)
-There will be a section with some left over plants at the end.
-Some amazing people are bringing plants for everyone to take home!
-Come just to socialize and network with awesome plant people! 😁
-There will be multiple giveaways going on during the event.
