The Cape Town Concert Series returns to the Baxter for an outstanding 2025 season to celebrate 70 years of music making.On 16th August, we present the official launch of the newly formed Baxter Trio in the Baxter Concert Hall - featuring three of Cape Town’s finest musicians – Francois du Toit on piano, violinist Farida Bacharova and Graham du Plessis on cello.

Rachmaninoff: Elegie, arranged for piano trio
Mendelssohn: Piano Trio No. 2 in C minor, Op. 66

The concert takes place at 11am in the Baxter Concert Hall, Rondebosch. As always the Baxter Bar is open for coffee/drinks which can be taken into the hall to enjoy along with the music.
