Each year, Crush Cancer supports a local family facing the fight of their lives. This year, we are honored to stand with Sherry Griffin.
A fourth-generation West Asheville native, Asheville High graduate, and former owner of Attractions Hair Design, Sherry is a devoted mother and loving wife. She was recently diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Cancer and a rare, aggressive leukemia called T-Cell Prolymphocytic Leukemia (T-PLL).
Her treatment journey requires extended care at Duke University and brings significant emotional and financial strain. Despite it all, Sherry’s strength, kindness, and resilience shine through.
