Every month we will be running Salsa and Bachata parties in Shrewsbury.
This month we welcome the incredible Marie-Claire Mathias from the Sabroso Company, an amazing teacher + dancer and we cannot wait to see what she has in store for you all.
We are so lucky to have Marie-Claire come back to crsbdy Shrewsbury and we cannot wait to party with you all again!

A great venue with a wooden dance floor, The Hive is located in the centre of town just up from the Old Post Office with plenty of on street parking options and good access for those coming out of town, oh and it has a fully stocked bar to keep you well hydrated throughout the night! It is all set up to be a great night.
As well as a class from our special guest teacher we also have beginners Salsa classes with our regular crsbdy teachers for those who have not tried Salsa and Bachata before!
Then after the classes are over the party begins playing the best Salsa and Bachata music to social dance to until late

🚗 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜:
Based on the western outskirts of Shrewsbury, driving to Havana Republic could not be easier, with free on street parking and the big Abbey Foregate car park right outside the venue. Parking is free in Shrewsbury after 6pm so there is plenty of choice when it comes down to working out where to leave your car whilst you party!
The venue is only a few minutes off the A5 so you can quickly make your way to the venue and even get quick access to the M54.

🚌 𝐁𝐮𝐬:
Located just outside the Abbey there are plenty of ways to get to the venue via bus. The easiest way is to get any of the following which stop right outside the Abbey and the venue itself: 1, 17, 23, 96, 96A, 436, 436A, 540, X7, X10 and X10A.
Alternatively the venue is just a short walk from the town centre on the English Bridge side of the town, so you can get any bus into town and make your way across.

🚂 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧:
Coming from out of town but do not want to drive? The Train station is only a short 10-15 minute walk from the venue and will take you on scenic stroll through the town centre and along the river.
Trains into and out of Shrewsbury are pretty regular, so make sure to check out this option. There are plenty of buses and taxis that run from the station if you do not want to walk.
