Crochet Club Online - Ghosts and Cauldrons

Something spooky is coming this Halloween! Not these guys though - they're too cute

In this live and interactive online workshop you will learn some beginner friendly amigurumi skills to make adorably scary ghosts and cauldrons to decorate your home this Halloween. We will all start with the same project together, and then work at our own pace. Beginners may prefer to focus on one project, and experienced crocheters may want to try both of them!

Amigurumi is the crochet technique for making toys, and is a wonderful skill to have! We will cover some of the basics in this workshop that will give you the confidence to seek out more beautiful patterns and projects to make.

This workshop is designed to be accessible for beginners, so don't worry if you've never picked up a hook before!

Crocheting is an incredibly mindful and relaxing craft and, when you become proficient with the stitches, you will find that you can bring your crocheting out anytime you have a spare 5 minutes to relax.

For the workshop, you will need to have the following materials:

• Aran weight yarn in: white, black and potion colour
• Small amount of black DK yarn for the mouth
• Size 5mm hook
• Stuffing
• 2 saftey eves
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• Stitch marker or small amount of yarn or string in a different colour (3-4inches is enough!)
• Access to the internet (as the workshop will run via Zoom)

You will be sent the zoom link and pattern by email before the day of the workshop.

So grab yourself some lovely, squishy yarn, stick the kettle on and settle in for an evening of chat and crocheting! (cake is also encouraged)
