Marin Green Home Tour 2024

What are Marin residents doing to combat climate change, improve air quality, generate clean energy, save water, and move toward a safer, healthier, greener, and more resilient future?

is a free, virtual tour features new homes, remodels, retrofits, and low-cost, low-tech, DIY solutions for homeowners and renters. The tour also includes short presentations by experts, and useful resources and rebates.

Marin’s buildings are responsible for as much as 34% of local greenhouse gas emissions. The climate crisis we are facing requires urgent local action to reduce these emissions and transition away from fossil fuels. Improving the efficiency of both our existing and new buildings must be part of these solutions. The Marin Green Home Tour shines a light on the strategies that residents can adopt for healthier, more comfortable homes, smaller energy bills, and cleaner air.

This tour will include video tours of 6 homes, plus short presentations by experts, links to relevant businesses, and useful resources, rebates, and incentives so attendees can benefit from the experience of our local sustainable living trend-setters.
