Creole Rendezvous

Join the African American Heritage Foundation for Creole Rendezvous, a free community celebration of Louisiana's rich Creole culture and heritage, held every October at Heyman Park. Come sway to the soulful sounds of live zydeco music, immerse yourself in the rhythms and language of our French-speaking Creole roots, and stroll through a vibrant marketplace of local vendors and farmers offering fresh produce, homemade goods, and authentic Louisiana flavors.
This is more than a festival — it's a gathering of family, culture, and community, honoring the traditions that make our corner of Louisiana so special. Bring your lawn chairs, bring your appetite, and bring your loved ones for an afternoon of good music, good food, and good people.
