Creative Writing to celebrate the Spring Equinox

As we officially greet Spring with the Spring Equinox, we will be celebrating all things light and colourful through words. We will be using the gardens as a place to explore the idea of levelling ourselves with others - those around the world experiencing equal day and night to us, and those creatures and plants inhabiting Trebah.
Polly has been running seasonal writing for wellbeing workshops at Trebah for the last two years, leading participants around the garden to find inspiration through mindfullness and creative writing practices. This workshop will ground you in season and place and offer a chance to delve deeper into a writing practice, whether you are a new or seasoned writer.
Polly Roberts is a counsellor, novelist and poet. She runs nature writing for wellbeing workshops around Cornwall.

The workshop will be based in the garden so please wear suitable clothing and footwear gear and bring a cushion or foldable seat if you find sitting outdoors uncomfortable. The workshop is liable to be cancelled if the minimum participant number is not met.

Location: Please enter via the Visitor Centre. You will be directed where to go from there. The event is being held in Trebah House and in the Garden. Please contact Trebah regarding any access needs.

Refreshment availability: Trebah Kitchen will be open.

Garden entry: Included during the workshop. But if you would like to explore the garden after, you will need to purchase garden entry if you're not a member.

When to arrive: Please arrive with enough time for the event to start at the advertised time.
