A playful embodied workshop exploring improvised song
About this Event

Welcome to La-La Lab

Join us for a playful and explorative workshop where we dive into the joyful world of vocal improvisation, play, and co-la-la-laboration! This is a space to free your voice, connect with others, and discover the magic that happens when we create together in the moment.

You don’t need to be a trained singer — just bring your curiosity, your voice, and your willingness to play.

What to Expect?

  • Collaborative Vocal Improvisation practices (CVI) that encourage vocal expression and creativity
  • Lots of singing, as well as warm ups, group games, movement and laughter
  • An opportunity to connect and sing with likeminded people

Your Facilitators

Katie Rose White

Katie is a Play Artist and founder of The Best Medicine; with a specific interest in encouraging adults to play and be playful. Katie has trained in Collaborative Vocal Improvisation as well as clowning, fooling and therapeutic laughter exercises. Facilitating workshops across the UK; she has begun to fuse her love of playfulness with vocal improvisation and is excited by the rich potential of this fusion.

Bryony Bird

Bryony is an artist and performer with a background in jazz singing and a passion for spontaneous expression. Trained in Collaborative Vocal Improvisation, she's excited by its capacity to draw out different parts of ourselves, fostering presence, connection and transformation.

Bryony + Katie love to create safe and playful spaces where voices can meet, explore, and surprise—no experience required, just curiosity.
