Do you have creative writing ideas stirring in your imagination? Join instructor Jessica Amber Barnum at the Carbondale Branch Library to play wordplay games, create and respond to fun writing prompts, learn writing style strategies, empower your voice during our open mic sessions, receive prizes, and write your masterpieces. We’ll meet from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. on the Wednesdays of September 11 and 25, October 9 and 23, November 6 and 20, and finally on December 11. You’ll even receive your very own copy of “The Teen Poet & Writer” to keep. Bring water, a snack, a journal, your favorite writing utensil, and even art supplies if you’d like. Free.
