Join artist Edi McGurk in creating a large-scale collective protest banner, taking a stand on issues and themes that matter to you.
About this Event

How can we creatively take action in gentle and thoughtful ways? Join artist, Edi McGurk, on Saturday 2 November 11am to 3pm for our next FREE Creative Open Day, ‘Shared Threads’ open to all ages and with no prior experience necessary. We will be exploring the role of textiles in political art and contributing to a large-scale collective protest banner made by you, taking a stand on issues and themes that matter to you.

Unable to make it to the workshop? You can still get involved by dropping your part of the banner by 30th November to Focal Point Gallery. The piece must be 30cm by 25cm on a fabric base that is able to be sewn onto a larger area.
